- (b) Major injuries are classified according to the severity criteria laid down in the Reporting of Injuries Disease and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1985.
- (c) North-west region and north-west (Greater Manchester) region were restructured in the quarter ending 30 June 1994 and became north-west region and Merseyside region.
- (d) The accident figures for the period July to September 1995 are not yet available.
