§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe Department of the Environment has published revised household projections up to 2011, but it will be some time yet before the Secretary of State can announce a revised housing provision for the south-east. No projections have been produced by SERPLAN. Therefore, the relevant guidance, including the housing provision, to which the draft county structure plan must have regard, is the regional planning guidance for the south-east (RPG9), published in March 1994.
The draft Hampshire county structure plan, containing policies and proposals for the period 1996–2011, was published by Hampshire county council on 2 October. Representations about the draft plan should be made to the county council and not to the Secretary of State for the Environment.
