To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if she will place in the Library a copy of the report of the evaluation of the travel-to-interview scheme pilot in the north-west region; and if she will make a statement. [41917]

Responsibility for the subject of the question has been delegated to the Employment Service Agency under its chief executive. I have asked him to arrange for a reply to be given.

The findings of the evaluation are still under discussion. I anticipate the report will be available in the next few weeks and a copy will be placed in the Library. I hope this is helpful.
