To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement about the progress of litigation between the liquidators of BCCI and the Bank of England. [41332]

The matter is before the court and it is not possible to comment further in these circumstances.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he next intends to meet the Governor of the Bank of England to discuss the liquidation of BCCI and the issue of the liquidators' writ against the Bank of England. [41333]
