HC Deb 25 May 1995 vol 260 c779W
Mr. Colvin

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has, following the House of Lords' decision on 17 November 1994, in support of the Yorkshire Water Company against the National Rivers Authority under section 107 of the Water Act 1989, to bring forward amendments to the Act of the Environment Bill currently before Parliament. [25906]

Mr. Atkins

We have no such plans. Our views on this issue were fully set out by my hon. Friend, Viscount Ullswater, during consideration of the Environment Bill in another place.
