§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe Teesside development corporation has provided no direct assistance to the football club in regard to its new stadium. The corporation is actively promoting access improvements, site preparation and reclamation of the overall Middlehaven site, part of which is occupied by the football club, in order to encourage the economic regeneration of the former dock area.
