§ Mr. Nicholas Baker[holding answer 10 May 1995]: On Wednesday 26 April the turnround times for processing properly completed, straightforward applications were:
- Belfast 6 days
- Glasgow 7 days
- Liverpool 7 days
- London 2 days
- Newport 6 days
- Peterborough 5 days
All the Passport Agency's key targets for 1994–95 were met. This resulted in a reduction in the overall average turnround time from just under eight days to just under seven days.
