§ Mr. NorrisThe Government take opportunities in their advice to motorists to encourage them to walk or cycle or to use public transport where it is safe and reasonable to do so. I have no current plans for a wider campaign, although I am following with close attention the efforts of local authorities, including Hertfordshire and Hampshire, where transport awareness programmes are underway.
