To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security (1) what studies he has made to examine the effect of reductions in benefits on refugees; [19459]

(2) what recent representations he has received regarding reduced benefits for refugees while their status is being investigated by the Home Office; [19457]

(3) what proposals he has to take remedial action in respect of the reductions of benefits for genuine refugees. [19458]

None. There is no reduction in the amount of benefits paid to genuine refugees who have been granted asylum by the Secretary of State.
