§ Mr. Robin SquireNet institutional expenditure per pupil in LEA-maintained nursery and primary schools in England is estimated at £1,638, and in secondary schools £2,250, in 1993–94, the latest year for which figures are available.
Equivalent information for grant-maintained schools is the responsibility of the Funding Agency for Schools. I will ask the chairman of the funding agency to write to the hon. Member.
