§ Mr. RedwoodThe Killarney fern is fully taken into account in the conservation strategies of the Countryside Council for Wales. Sites containing the largest populations are designated as sites of special scientific interest and great caution is shown on releasing information relating to the location of the fern. Proposals to reintroduce the fern in Meirionnydd are under consideration.
