§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonA total of £10,500 has been allocated to fund National Continence Day in Scotland. The resources are being directed towards the servicing of a telephone helpline facility at the Continence Resource Centre, Southern General Hospital NHS trust, Glasgow and also the printing and distribution of information leaflets and advertisements in some Scottish newspapers. No representations have been received. The Scottish Office is happy to support the campaign to raise awareness of this condition and to encourage sufferers to seek advice and treatment.
