(2) if he will list those city and district council areas in order of atmospheric pollution by (a) nitrogen dioxide, (b) sulphur dioxide and (c) particulates in the last five years in terms of annual average ground level concentrations in nanograms per cubic metre.
§ Mr. AtkinsMy Department makes measurements of NO2, S02 and particulates using non-automatic methods in collaboration with local authorities at over 1,200 sites for nitrogen dioxide and 257 sites for sulphur dioxide and black smoke. Data from the non-automatic sites are 681W published in a number of reports, as listed, which are available from the National Environmental Technology centre, Culham, Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
