§ Mr. Nicholls
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the cost of his Department's expenditure on water and sewerage in(a) the current year and (b) each of the three previous years.

The cost of the FCO's expenditure in the United Kingdom on water and sewerage is as follows:

¹Some accounts received by the FCO for 1993–94 and the current year arc in dispute; when settled there will be some further costs to add.

It is not possible without disproportionate cost to identify overseas expenditure on water and sewerage for the Department's overseas accommodation.
