§ Dr. MawhinneyMy Department is in regular contact with both the manufacturing and operating sides of the54W bus industry and is very much aware of their concerns about the proposed EC Bus and Coach Directive.
My hon. Friend, the Minister for Local Transport and Road Safety will shortly be meeting representatives from both sides of the industry specifically to discuss the full implications of the proposal.
