To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what plans he has to meet the Environmental Industries Commission; and what proportion of United Kingdom exports of environmental technologies and services he assesses can be met by Welsh companies. [30521]

There are no plans to meet representatives of the organisation known as the Environmental Industries Commission Ltd. Overseas markets for environmental technologies and services are important to Welsh companies in that sector. However it is impossible to say what proportion of United Kingdom exports can be met by Welsh companies since the size of the market and an individual company's capacity to export will vary from day to day.
