HL Deb 26 June 1995 vol 565 cc37-8WA
Baroness Gould of Potternewton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they intend to seek changes to the draft European Convention on the Exercise of Children's Rights in the light of Opinion No. 186 (1995) of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

The Opinion of the Parliamentary Assembly was taken into consideration at a recent meeting of the European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ) in Strasbourg, when amendments to the draft European Convention on the Exercise of Children's Rights were discussed and agreed.
