HL Deb 21 June 1995 vol 565 c22WA
Lord Braine of Wheatley

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many women who suffered domestic violence from a husband or partner have been (a) charged and (b) convicted of (i) murder and (ii) manslaughter for each of past five years in England and Wales.

The Minister of State, Home Office (Baroness Blatch)

Details of homicides held centrally do not enable those cases preceded by domestic violence to be separately identified.
