To ask the Secretary of State for Education under what authority the selling of confectionery in schools may be prohibited; and which schools have prohibited its sale. [28830]

Decisions about the sale of confectionery are the responsibility of local education authorities or, where applicable, the governing bodies of schools in England. We do not collect information on school which have prohibited the sale of confectionery.
