To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list(a) the profits or losses incurred and (b) the reserves of each training and enterprise council in each of the last three years. [28859]

The following tables list(a) the profits or losses incurred and (b) the accumulated reserves of each English training and enterprise council at the end of the financial years 1991–92, 1992–93 and 1993–94.

The figures are those shown in the audited statutory accounts lodged at Companies House.

The turnover of individual TECs varies considerably therefore comparison between TECs is not possible.
