JonesI am happy to announce that Mr. Roy Swanston, currently president of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has accepted the offer of appointment as first chairman of the Local Government Residuary Body (England). The appointment will be made as soon as possible, once the other founder members of the residuary body have been selected.
