§ Mr. SoamesHMS Vanguard collected 16 unarmed Trident II D5 missiles from Kings bay prior to deployment; none are held at the Royal Naval armament depot, Coulport. Vanguard class SSBNs are the only means by which these missiles are transported from the Us to the United Kingdom.
