§ Mr. SoamesThe chief executive of the Royal Air Force Training Group defence agency has been set the following targets for financial year 1995–96.
- 1. By 31 March 1996 to take forward the recommendations of the Quality Management Workshop Report.
- 2. By 31 March 1996 to achieve the planned elements of Future Flying Training Implementation and Group Training Rationalisation, including the associated Defence Costs Study measures, in accordance with the relevant schedules.
- 3. By 31 March 1996 to deliver efficiency measures to achieve a 2.5 per cent. reduction in running costs.
- 4. By 31 March 1996 to achieve the planned elements of the Agency's contribution to the RAF manpower savings programme.
- 5. By 31 March 1996 to complete the planned work against the Agency's Competing for Quality programme.
- 6. By 31 March 1996 to develop and implement the Agency's fixed asset management strategy, procedures and reporting systems.
- 7. By 31 March 1996 to report on business process re-engineering and the development of associated financial and accounting systems required by the Department's move to Resource Accounting and Budgeting
