To ask the President of the Board of Trade if the list of destinations subject to special licensing procedures for the export of dual-use goods published on 9 February, Official Report, column 353–54, has been revised. [36543]

Some licence applications for dual use goods to the following destinations are subject to special licensing proceduresAlgeria, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Burma, China (Peoples Republic of), Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, India, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrghystan, Latvia, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Rwanda, Serbia, Slovenia, Somalia, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekhistan, Vietnam, Zaire.

This list is subject to regular review. In addition, some licence applications for destinations not listed are also subject to special licensing procedures.

The use of these procedures does not preclude the granting of an export licence.
