§ Sir John WheelerTo bring the law on release of prisoners in Northern Ireland in line with England and Wales would require provisions equivalent to those in part II of the Criminal Justice Act 1991, together with the creation of a parole board for Northern Ireland. The Government have no plans to make these changes at this time.
