§ Mr. ClappisonThe Government have taken a strong lead in the implementation of the recommendations in "Constructing the Team", together with other members of the Construction Industry Board. Two consultation documents have been issued by the Government on legislative proposals arising from the recommendations, and the responses are being considered. The success of the report depends ultimately on a culture change within the construction industry, which the Government are actively supporting and encouraging.
