§ Mr. MacleanWe are looking at the anti-stalking laws of the United States and Canada to see if there are any lessons to be learnt from them.
We are presently awaiting further details from these countries and therefore I cannot say when this examination is likely to be completed. We shall consider whether there is a need for a formal review of our legislation in the light of this examination and the examination of other evidence which has been provided to us by the national anti-stalking and harassment campaign among others.
