§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe findings of a 1993 national survey by the NHS management executive in Scotland are set out in "Framework for Action: What Those Who Work Within the NHS in Scotland Think 1993" a copy of which is in the Library. All trusts were asked to review the findings taking account of local circumstances and to develop, implement and report on action plans to tackle those issues identified as requiring action locally. From 1995 onwards the undertaking of such surveys is a matter for individual trusts.
