§ Mr. WaldegraveMy right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer has no plans to change fiscal policy, which is to bring the public sector borrowing requirement back towards balance over the medium term. The figures in the summer forecast demonstrate that we are on course to achieve this.
