Given the small number of cases in certain health boards, it is not appropriate on the grounds of confidentiality to publish the information in the form requested. The total amounts of damages awarded and total legal costs, for all health boards and NHS trusts in Scotland for the years 1990–91 to 1994–95 are given in the table.
