§ Mr. ArbuthnotDetails of the number and value of contracts placed with individual defence companies are a matter of commercial confidentiality between the Ministry of Defence and those companies. The Department does, however, give broad information on contractors paid £5 million or more in table 1.16 of the annual publication "UK Defence Statistics" which is placed in the Library. The 1995 edition will shortly be available and the contractors listed in the question are included in those statistics.
