HC Deb 04 July 1995 vol 263 c157W
Mr. Worthington

To ask the secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many dial-a-ride schemes there are in Northern Ireland; and what proposals he has to introduce more. [31418]

Mr. Moss

There are two dial-a-ride schemes operating in Northern Ireland—the Easyrider scheme, which operates in north and west Belfast, and Citylink, which operates in Londonderry. The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland supports both schemes and is currently considering options for their future development. There are no plans to introduce more dial-a-ride schemes in Northern Ireland.
