Jones[holding answer 26 June 1995]: The data collected from local authorities in England on the numbers of households for which they accept responsibility to secure permanent accommodation under the homelessness provisions of the Housing Act 1985 have, since the beginning of 1994, included the numbers accepted after being granted asylum.
