The Home Secretary has asked me to reply to your recent Question about the publication of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector's report into Blakenhurst.It is expected that the report will be published on 1 February. Publication has not been unduly delayed. The report was received from the Inspector on 10 October 1994. Careful consideration is given to all such reports before publication and this has been so for the Blakenhurst report.
