§ Mr. Sweeney
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what arrangements he has made for the establishment of the residuary body for Wales.

§ Mr. Gwilym Jones
The residuary body will be set up on 1 February. The members will be:

Mr. D. Hugh Thomas CBE (chairman)

Mr. J. Elwyn Davies

Miss D. Adrianne Jones CBE

Mr. Brian T. Williams

The Secretary of State will be issuing guidance to the residuary body. Local authorities will be able to comment on a draft of the guidance before it is issued in final form to the residuary body.
