§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Committee of Ministers' Deputies and the secretariat of the Council of Europe are currently looking at the resource implications of the enlargement of the Council of Europe. We shall take decisions once the results of their work are known. The parliamentary assembly's recommendation will be fully taken into account.
§ Mr. Austin MitchellTo ask the Secretary of State Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will arrange to publish after each Council of Ministers and each European summit a concordat version comparing the claims made by each Government to their own electorate about the nature of the decisions taken and the gains and losses for that country.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggThere are no plans to change the existing arrangements for informing the House of the outcomes of meetings of the Council of the European Union or the European Council.
