§ Mr. Robin SquireNeither Ministers nor officials of the Department have suggested Feversham college might consider applying for grant-maintained status. The Department does not make loans available to the promoters of any school to approval of their proposals to become a voluntary aided or a grant-maintained school. The Funding Agency for Schools does not have powers to make loans to promoters of new grant-maintained schools.
