However, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy regularly publishes estimates for individual authorities: figures for 31 March 1994 are available in its revenue collection statistics 1993–94 publication, a copy of which is in the Library of the House.

§ Mr. Robert B. JonesI have received a number of representations from the north-west about the 1995 revaluation of non-domestic property and its effect on businesses. The Government have introduced transitional arrangements to phase in the impact of the revaluation on rate bills; over 180,000 ratepayers in the north-west will benefit from these arrangements.
