§ Mr. Nicholas BakerThe standard bilateral readmission agreement adopted by the Justice and Home Affairs Council at its meeting on 30 November and 1 December 1994, provides a standard format and text as a basis for the negotiation of bilateral agreements between individual member states and third countries governing the readmission to their country of origin of those found to be illegally resident in the territories of the contracting parties. A copy of the document has been placed in the Library.
