To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will estimate the cost to his Department's budget in 1995–96 of implementing in full the recommendations of the Review Body on Armed Forces Pay, assuming no changes in staff numbers.

We estimate that the cost of implementing in full the recommendations of the Review Body on Armed Forces Pay will be some £140,000,000.
