To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the local authority schools in Scotland that seek to recruit nationally.

This information is not held centrally. However, I am not aware of any local authority school that recruits nationally, either as regards staff or pupils, although education authorities do place advertisements from time to time.
