§ Mr. SoamesSubject to parliamentary approval of the spring supplementary estimates, the following changes will be made:

It reflects the net effect of transfers between the Ministry of Defence and other Government Departments and a revision to the estimated costs for redundancy.
The Ministry of Defence operating costs limit will be reduced by £19,181,000 from £17,399,500,000 to £17,380,319,000. This also reflects the net effect of 850W transfers between the Ministry of Defence and other Government Departments, a revision to the estimated costs for redundancy and an overestimate of receipts.
