§ Mr. HagueProjects being looked at currently, which have been announced, are as follows: M4 relief road; A465 Heads of the Valleys road; eastern bay link of the Cardiff peripheral distributor road; new general hospital at Baglan; staff residential accommodation, district general hospital, Llantrisant; day surgery unit and mental health development, Nevill hall, Abergavenny; cancer treatment centre, Glan Clwyd district general hospital, Rhyl; community hospital, Chepstow; replacement of radiotherapy equipment, Velindre; OSIRIS, office automation system for Welsh Office.
A £6.5 million plan to build a multistorey car park and an eastbound slip road to the A48 at the University hospital of Wales, was approved by my Department last week. Information on schemes costing less than £1 million is not collected. The names of companies bidding for or expressing an interest in such projects are confidential.
