§ Mr. HealdThe state earnings-related pension legislation provides, for people reaching pension age after April 1999, that regulations may be made to enhance the SERPS entitlement of those who are precluded from regular employment by caring responsibilities at home. It is intended that regulations will be brought forward at the appropriate time.
