§ Mr. PageThe first part of the hon. Member's question is a matter for the British Coal Corporation and I have asked the chairman to write to the hon. Member. I understand from the Coal Authority that the nine pumping stations in County Durham transferred to the authority on 31 October 1994 are all still being operated. There was and is no requirement for my Department to be notified in such cases.
