§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe inspector's report has been received. The Secretary of State's decisions on the Welbeck compulsory purchase orders and the appeal by the Warmfield Company have been deferred at the request of Wakefield council and the company. The Secretary of State currently awaits their confirmation of whether they wish to withdraw the orders and appeal or proceed with them. It is not possible to say when the decision on the appeal will be issued, should the company decide to proceed with it.
