§ Mr. HagueIn 1996–97 the provision for the Welsh Office will be £6,865 million, including the proceeds of the sale of the Housing for Wales loan portfolio. This represents a 1.4 per cent. increase over the original planned expenditure for 1995–96 and 2.2 per cent. higher than the forecast outturn.
