The Home Secretary has asked me, in the absence of the Director General from the office, to reply to your recent Question about the cost of producing the April issue of Prison Service News.The total cost, including paper, colour separations, proofing, printing, distribution and staff wages was £9,913.70.Set against this cost was £2,373 of advertising revenue.
