§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonProvisional statistics indicate that there were 13,005 divorces in Scotland in 1994. In the preceding four years the final figures for divorces were:
- 1993: 12,787
- 1992: 12,479
- 1991: 12,399
- 1990: 12,272
