§ Mr. AncramTrade unions in Northern Ireland make, and have made, a valuable contribution to Northern Ireland's excellent industrial relations record, in combating sectarianism in the work place and in promoting peace and reconciliation. I also commend the work undertaken by the trade unions in encouraging and supporting equality of employment opportunities.
